Ok let’s do this! I like to think of my reset week almost like a transformation week where I go from being a caterpillar getting into my little cocoon and I come out as a butterfly. I did this before my wedding, before summer, and after the holidays, especially when I feel like I’m addicted to sugar and need a cleanse. This, to me, is the ultimate and quickest way to transform yourself. This is not sustainable, this is not a recommended diet, this is nothing like that, this is how to take 5 days and basically transform yourself into something new. It’s quick, it’s effective, BUT it is not sustainable. So, with that in mind, let’s get into it!
Prolon: Prolon 5-Day is a patented and scientifically-backed Fasting Mimicking Diet (FMD) that activates cellular clean-up pathways while allowing you to eat. Over five days, you receive precisely formulated meals that help your body enter a rejuvenating state called autophagy. This program helps you clear out cellular waste, lose weight while protecting your muscle mass, and support your overall health while still nourishing your body. It helps with weight loss, particularly around the stomach area. All the foods sit well with me. I love how it’s more of a salt-focused cleanse. The soups are really good, the food is really good, it absolutely works!! If you stick to this, you will leave this with your eye whites glowing and your skin looking good. Every time I talk about it I’m like I should go do this now. It’s just amazing!

Hot Yoga: this is something I do all of the time anyway so including it into my transformation week is obvious. If you’re not used to hot yoga, you might not want to double it with Prolon but for me this is something I do no matter what. It really helps with detoxing. Sweating is incredible, it’s a really great way to help with your mindset. When you’re not thinking about “what am I going to make for dinner” or “what am I going to eat next”, you have so much time to think of other things and time to process what’s going on within you. So, I love to go to yoga with one of those things that comes up and use this time to process, detox and use it the time to drink a ton, I mean a ton of water. So hot yoga for me is half workout and half therapy.
Hair Oiling: I love to throw in hair oiling during this “caterpillar phase” I try to do this once a week regardless, but I really let it simmer during reset week and use an intense shampoo to reset the scalp, this is a bonus but always leaves me feeling good and refreshed. I also notice more volume at the roots after a deep shampoo.

Colonic: This is intense but a colonic during the time of Prolon will give you the most effective colonic. Something that can interfere with a colonic is if you are really dehydrated or if you have been eating a lot of red meats or have a lot of alcohol in your system. Anything like that will kind of make colonics feel more uncomfortable and you might need more of them to get things going. Verses if you do them simultaneously with Prolon your body will respond quicker. Your body is already doing things, it’s already getting things moving so adding a colonic to this will be insane in the best way. The other benefit is at first the colonic will hydrate you, so if you’re super dehydrated going into this your body might not get the benefits of the colonic, your body might literally use the tube to absorb water. So, I like to go into my colonics super hydrated, I make sure to pee before cause when you have to pee during that’s no fun. So I go into this super hydrated so that my body can absorb the benefits of the colonic and not just the water entering my body.
Sauna blanket/Sauna: this kind of falls under the hot yoga category, I just think sweating and drinking water are possibly some of the best things you can be doing for your body and this is a way I can do both. I love finding time to multitask so if I can go do an hour of hot yoga and be drinking water and working out, amazing. If I can be in a sauna and detox from sweating, amazing. I love it! So I think the sauna is just a great thing to have all the time in life and also a great thing to add during this transformation week.

EMS: is a great thing to add into a Prolon week because it’s low impact moving, it’s not crazy. You can kind of choose how hard or not hard you want to go. It’s also a good time while you’re not eating alot to keep the muscle mass up and make sure your butt isn’t losing anything. It’s kind of the easiest way to work out when you’re feeling lethargic and not in a good mood. Having somebody come to your house and make your butt be hard is just an incredible luxury that I try to take advantage of during these transformation weeks. My goal is to come out of it looking my absolute best and I like to have a nice big butt when I want to look my best.
Diurex: This is if you’re on your period or you feel like you are holding onto a lot of water tension and you don’t want to be bloated or feel bloated. Again, not a sustainable thing over time and if this is used incorrectly it is not good for you but if you’re holding onto water retention like I do specifically when I’m on my period it’s a really great thing to take the night before. You’ll wake up, you’ll pee everything out and if you’re like me feel slimmer and less puffy the next morning. So, if you feel like you hold onto water and you want to look your absolute best, example it’s the morning of your wedding then diurex can be helpful for appearance. Just remember it will dehydrate you because what it does is make you pee everything out. Yes, your muscles will be popping and you’ll look great in that bikini but make sure you’re drinking a little bit more water because you’ll also be peeing alot and that can lead to dehydration. It’s a very personal,, find your balance type of situation; listen to your own body.
So much water: I feel like I’ve said this a bunch of times but it just helps so much with your skin and really helps with everything. So it’s very important while you’re not eating. It keeps everything moving, if you’re going to add the colonic or add one thing make sure it’s water!! I always think if I had to choose one thing to actually change my life it would truly just be committing to drinking a significant amount of water every day. That is the smallest step you can take. So if you take one thing from this whole week it’s to drink some extra water with me.
